He started his carrier from his childhood in the film "vetri".

Close friends of Vijay is Sanjay,sanjeev,Ram kumar in cinema field his best friends are Ajith, Surya and Vikram.

In the film of Nalaya Thiirpu which has been Directed by His Father itself introduced as an action hero.

Thalapathy is very much interested in going to London and Los Angels
