The scheduled Time table for the Engineering even semester May/June 2013 will not be changed

After a long break of almost 18 days due to the strike on the Sri lankan Tamil issue, it is now said by the Directorate of Collegiate Education that the colleges in Tamil Nadu, the arts as well as the engineering colleges will be reopened on April 3rd.
In the circular to all engineering colleges, "officials of the Anna University have mentioned that there will be no change in the examination schedule".This announcement has worried the teachers and the students of the engineering colleges.

Since there are few days left, the teachers feel that it is impossible to complete the portions. Officials of most of the colleges say that they will have to hold classes on Sundays and
few hours of extra classes on the other days. But teachers feel that extra classes also would not be enough.

As the practical examination in most of the engineering colleges were to begin from April 22, students are going to a tough time without having enough lab hours. Also, they believe that without preparation leave or attempting model exams they cannot perform well.

The  directorate of Collegiate Education have instructed all arts colleges to reopen on wednesday. In case of arts colleges, the autonomous colleges can go continue  their exams and the government colleges have to wait for the instructions from the University of Madras to know the exam schedule.

Thus there exists a troubled atmosphere in all colleges. Stay tune wikicrowd.blogspot.com for further updation
